| Is it just me or does anybody else think that Rhythmic Gymnastics is just a bit circus like!!? | | |
| Well, we had a GREAT trip to Galveston. Stayed at a super nice place - San Luis Resort. The pool was incredible. You should look it up on the internet. Matt & Chari went to the movie tonight so True-Dawg's over spending the evening. Oh my goodness ... he is SOOOOOOO much FUN! He's just talkin' up a storm and pretty much has YaYa wrapped around his finger. I think everything he does is so darn cute. It's actually pretty ridiculous!!!!! Just can't help myself. There was music on the end of Chicken Little and he just came over, grabbed my hand, and said, "dance." So we sang "twistin' - shake it, shake it, shak it, twistin'" and danced. Sheeesh. I'm out of shape!!! Cait went with us to Galveston and is here for the whole week! She needs the break, too. She's lookin' forward to just doin' a little chillin'. Okay - almost Truett's bedtime so guess I'd better go. Love to all. | | |
| My goodness - I haven't posted in FOREVER!! I get on here and read everybody else's stuff and comment, etc..., but I forget to post. Let's see........ Met Cait in Ft. Worth for the weekend. Had a BLAST! We ate at Panera Bread .... mmmmmmm ... and Chipotle ... mmmmmmm. Doesn't get much better than that. That was my first Panera experience and won't be my last. Stayed at a Courtyard 'cause Pat had some Marriot points. Got a GREAT deal on the room. Stayed there Friday night and then they called Saturday morning asking if we would move to another room 'cause they needed that one 'cause it was adjoining with a handcapped room ... blah-blah-blah. We said, sure, no biggie. And they moved us to a Suite and gave us free breakfast!!! SWEET. Shopped .. found everything we needed - definitely a gift from the Lord. Then went to see Prince Caspian, which I thoroughly enjoyed even though it didn't stick to the book exactly. Thought it was excellent. I would have only changed one little thing, but I don't want to spoil it so I won't say what. Thought we were going to a plain 'ole movie theatre, but when we walked in it was a restraunt!! They handed us a menu, we went to our theatre seats, ordered our food and had a blast! We definitely need to get a group of girls together and go do that one day. Too much fun! And I guess that's it for now. True-dawg's spending the night with us, so gotta run get him ready for "night-night." Night All. | | |
| Well, I just went to Ornan's site and watched some more "the making of" videos. How fun and exciting this is ... for them and their families ... for all of us as their friends ... for me as a mother! If you haven't checked it out you should give it a whirl.... myspace.com/ornansfloor. You don't have to be a myspace user to watch the videos and read their blogs. Thank you, Lord, for the path you laid before them and for their choosing to walk it. For the fact that they, and their families, have been willing to make the sacrifice. Father, may you find favor upon them ... individually, as families, and as a band. May they continue to grow and to bring you glory! | | |
| Well, I'm feeling better. My ankle is still really sore ... not for walking, but the left to right motion and stretching still tender. But, it's all good. Funny story. One of our friends knew about what had happened and was a little incensed about the whole thing. So, he called some "big wigs" (that he knows) at the hospital to tell 'em that he thought it was handled poorly, etc... They said they agreed and would take care of it, blah-blah-blah. So, he asked me tonight if I heard from anyone and I told him, "no." He said that's so weird - and then told me he had called, etc... (I had no idea this had taken place). Anyway, we kept talking and someone mentioned the name of the hospital and I was like - no, it was the other one. He had called the wrong hospital!!!!! That's hilarious. I thanked him for being protective anyway. Anyway - that's it for tonight. Love ya'll. | | |
